From the Planetenweg to Himmelswiese

Our February hike starts through vineyards and leads along the Planetenweg to the Wotrubakirche and
the open-air planetarium. We continue to
Pappelteich and after a short descent and ascent to the Himmelswiese viewpoint with beautiful
views over Vienna. We then descend back to the bus stop through vineyards.
During the hike we have the opportunity to connect with nature.
We walk in silence. During rest breaks there is opportunity for exchange. During the hike we practice
various mindfulness practices from the Plum Village tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh:
listening to the bell, second body, mindful eating, mindful sharing, Dharma text,
dwelling in nature and – if appropriate – communal singing.
